[LM_NET] Books Like Lord of the Flies

A teacher has asked for help finding a low-level book with similar 
themes to _Lord of the Flies_ or maybe just a book about a group of boys 
with some action in it to use with a new student who speaks no English.  
The new student, from Guatemala, has been recently added into a group 
with English speaking students who are in the process of reading _Lord 
of the Flies_. These students are all high school freshmen.

Thanks for any suggestions.
