[LM_NET] Target: 10th-12th grade Math Collaboration

I have a math teacher who would like to collaborate with me on a project for her 
"Topics in Discrete Math" class.  They will be researching topics such as 
cryptology, matrixes, and optimization.  I would love to come up with some fun 
technology projects for the students to do other than the typical research paper 
but am drawing a blank! Anyone have any suggestions?
