Hi All - Thanks for all of the suggestions on finding research for data to share with my school board on the benefits of flexible scheduling. Here is what I received: Here's the page from the IU class I'm taking right now. There are numerous links to articles and good summaries as well. http://eduscapes.com/sms/administration/flexible.html +++++++++++++++++++++++++ Check out Scholastic's SCHOOL LIBRARIES WORK (on their website). I think that many of the David Loertscher studies will corroborate that, too. Sorry if his name is not spelled correctly; you should find it in the Scholastic piece, too. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Look at the research done by Keith Curry Lance: www.lrs.org/documents/lmcstudies/proof2005.ppt -- Katie Monroe Media Specialist Ellis Elementary School 250 Illini Drive Belleville, IL 62223 618-397-5512 618-397-4348 (f) www.harmony175.org katiemonroe@charter.net -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
