Sixth grade has a long standing unit on inventions. This year, though, there is a new teacher teaching it, and she would like to emphasize the process of getting an invention from idea to the conception of that idea. I feel like I've been asking for help a lot this year, but I'm really having trouble coming up with books that fit this requirement for this age group. Does anyone on this list have any titles of books that fill this need? I've managed to find one so far: "Inventions: Great Ideas And Where They Came From" by Sarah Houghton, but a few more would be marvelous. Thank you for any help you can offer.
