I had a request for a HIT about embedding Animoto videos in pbworks and further information about Animoto. First, here is the solution in pbworks: on editing the page choose insert plugin - then HTML/Gadgets -then HTML/Java - paste embed script from animto then make sure you save the page - I checked allow java script box below the dialog box on the HTML/java window. (I never noticed the little check box). Further information about Animoto: I have an educator's account. I signed up for it in the spring. If I recall correctly, I waited about 2 weeks to receive my code. So far I have used it to create personal projects, grad school projects, and a presentation for Back-to-School night. Now I want to create book trailers to use with my students. I'm not certain I will actually have the students use it because of the limited time I have with them on my fixed schedule.
