A teacher saw it on CNN yesterday.  Adult novel - takes place in Japan.  13
year old girl goes missing - complex hotel setting.  Mirrors real life event
where a Canadian woman went missing in the same hotel complex.  Father gives
up everything to find daughter.

Thanks so much.  CNN site appears to be down.
