Hello All, We are focusing on poetry in our middle school this year. Tomorrow we have a professional development day and our curriculum director would like to start us off on the right foot by reading a poem about our belief that education should be available to all students, the opportunity should be there for all, including at-risk students who may not be the easiest to teach. Can anyone suggest a poem that speaks to the belief that all deserve the opportunity to learn? Thanks for any examples you think might work for us.
