I am beginning my orientations with 7-8-9 on Friday and would love to hear about any additional sucessful ideas to engage kids in this necessary but oh so dry library visit! Thanks as always, EC Eileen Culkin, Librarian Inter-Lakes Jr. Sr. High School Meredith, NH eculkin@interlakes.org "At the moment that we persuade a child, any child, to cross that threshold, that magic threshold into a library, we change their lives forever, for the better. It's an enormous force for good. " Barack Obama, President of the United States "I really didn't realize the librarians were, you know, such a dangerous group. They are subversive. You think they're just sitting there at the desk, all quiet and everything. They're like plotting the revolution, man. I wouldn't mess with them."
