[LM_NET] Off Topic: Internet filter for home

I can think of no better place to ask this question. The filter I was using
is really giving my computer problems and I need to find another one. I
looked on-line some but was a little overwhelmed. 

I would like one that filters very well but does not cost a fortune and
will not send my computer into fits. I just had it completely cleaned off
and redone and I don't it ruined again.

I have a virus protection already on I just need a filtering program.

You can reply to me off-list.

Any suggestions would be great.
