Thanks to everyone who gave me advice about whether or not to keep the types of reference books that are easily replaced by the internet. A lot of people said to put them in the regular non-fiction. Although you might have gotten the impression I'm new to the profession, this is actually my 30th year as a library teacher. Putting reference books with the non-fiction is a paradigm change for me, but I am considering it. And I'll keep the dusty Bartlett's for those non-electrical days!! I will keep asking questions because what is new to me is starting up a dormant library and library program that has been dormant for 10 years. I'll need lots of help with that. Thanks again.
