Hi All, Through a brief survey with my 6th-8th graders, it has come to my attention that about 99% of them have no clue what a call number is (it is my first year in the school). I am looking for interesting and engaging lesson ideas to use with these grade levels to introduce the concept of a call number and discuss the different types. I am only doing book selection every other week so I am looking to fill a 43 min. period to start. I am thinking maybe a powerpoint or a worksheet would be helpful. Anything anyone could offer would be great!
