[LM_NET] New Book/Review

I would like to recommend the book Birthmarked by Caragh O'Brien. It is an 
intriguing book about a dystopian earth 300 years in the future. Each midwife in 
Wharfton must turn over the first three children born each month to the Enclave. 
Returning from her first birthing on her own, Gaia discovers her parents have been 
taken away to the Enclave. She decides she must free her parents and sets out on a 
journey that will change everything in which she has believed. This is the first 
book in a trilogy. Author Caragh O'Brien has written for adult romances before, but 
this is her first journey into Young Adult fiction which seems to fit her writing 
style quite well.

Caragh is an inspired and well-loved teacher here at Tolland High School. Her 
English students benefit from her creative lessons and her Journalism students 
recently had 12 of 17 news stories chosen to be aired on a local TV station.
