[LM_NET] Need book title

I just received this email from a teacher.  Doesn't sound familiar to me.  She 
would have read it in another school.  Any suggestions?

I remember years ago I read a book to my students about how some creatures trash 
and pollute their planet, so they move to a new planet to do the same thing.  The 
creatures look like hairy dogs with long noses and big eyes.  I can't remember the 
name of it.  Do you know if we have a story like this in our library??
