LM_NET Archive



A few years ago when I was in a middle school in Las Vegas I got a book returned in 
the mail from Hawaii. Not only had it been the book that traveled farthest, but 
also the one that had been checked out the longest. It had been out for decades 
according to the date stamp inside on the card pocket, and didn't have a barcode or 
anything that current copies had on them. Also, there was no return address or 
explaination. Apparently the former student just needed to "make things right."
