[LM_NET] HIT: Limited budget and Playaways

Dear Great and Wise Ones:
Some of you requested a hit for my query about limited budgets and
purchasing playaways.

Several respondents said that they wrote grants to purchase playaways.
Two persons said that they had gone with audible.com files on purchased MP3
players.
One person said that she circulates a book with a playaway in a zippered
pouch.
One person suggested that you should buy the first of a series in playaway
to spark interest in the books.
One person bought playaways with book fair profits.
Only two respondents said that their playaways do not circulate much.
One person expressed one of my fears--if you cannot collect for lost books
how can you recoup the higher cost of a playaway?
