I changed my bulletin board yesterday and put on it, "If I ran the
library. . ." I sent out an email to the teachers asking them to have
the kids complete the sentence, paragraph, illustration, what ever! and
then take the best and post it on my board while I am away at Texas
Librarian Association Convention! I am hoping to come back with a board
full of what I can do to improve the library, or how much they love what
I already do!!!

Since next week is National Library Week, don't forget that Wednesday
is also THANK YOUR SCHOOL LIBRARIAN DAY! I'm not sure who used to claim
this...but it was posted for many years in a periodical we received
called "Copycat magazine." Over the years I've tried to find an
official sponsor, but never have. No matter...but we should keep it! I
challenge all library friends around the world to unite next week and
post something in your schools for students and parents to sign showing
their support for your library!
