[LM_NET] Series similar to Henry & Mudge

Happy Friday Collective Brain!
I had a teacher come in yesterday looking for an alternative to Rylant's
Henry & Mudge series (her student had devoured every single one of them).  The 
student doesn't really care for Rylant's other series Mr. Putter and Tabby, and 
Poppleton.  He's read all the Fluffy (guinea pig)series, so I gave her a Harry & 
Emily book (Ruelle), and an Amanda Pig (Van Leeuwen) to try.  Does anyone know of 
any other series that are similar (that have animals as characters)?  This is an 
autistic first grade boy.
