I asked if folks could recommend great author/illustrator
websites for a list I'm doing for my May article on
www.ReadKiddoRead.com. (If you go to the site, pull down
under NEWSLETTER, sign up for it--it's free, natch--and
you'll get the list weeks before they post it on the site.)
Here were their responses:

I often refer kids to www.davpilkey.com

I'm thinking mine isn't quite what you wanted, right? I do have TONS of curriculum
guides and RT scripts and such. But it's not very "splashy." Katie Davis's is
splashy!

(Note from Judy: I love Toni's site, which has been on my evergrowing Best list
since I started it some years back. I don't need splashy--I need great content, and
hers is rich with ideas. Katie's site has also always been on my list--but hey,
Katie's an illustrator, so she can do all the splash herself, talented girl that
she is.)

Do you already have tabarron.com on your list? I think it's a beautiful site
and it has things for kids to do, educator resources, etc.
