Hi Colleagues,

Anne posted yesterday reminding us all to be sure we've voted for Sara Kelly
Johns for ALA President.  I'd like to add my voice to the chorus cheering
SKJ on and ask all of you who are ALA members to vote for our colleague and
fellow listmember!  Furthermore, if you're an AASL Division member,
colleague and listmember Carl Harvey is running for AASL president.  I ask
you to vote for Carl Harvey too. Why? Because I know both of these fellow
school librarians and listmembers personally and I know their commitment to
making our voices and our concerns HEARD.

I know that the ballot can feel daunting with all of the Councilors to vote
for, but at least take the first step of voting for ALA president and AASL
president.  We've only got a week left to make our voices heard!

And, as for Councilors. consider using the guide AASL has provided to ALA
members who are AASL, ALSC, and YALSA members as a guide.  These are people
who have a commitment to library service to children, as do we all! You can
