[LM_NET] Sad news

Many of you, especially in Michigan, will be saddened to hear of the death of 
Loretta Mitchell Burd this morning from complications of liver cancer surgery. 
Loretta was very involved in MAME on a local and statewide level and served as a 
mentor to many. She was my source of encouragment and information and was the main 
reason I became a media specialist. She was a school librarian in Indiana and at 
Godwin Heights and Northview High School locally. Funeral arrangements are pending.
