[LM_NET] ELEM: need book suggestion for 5th grade graduation class

Hi,

I have a colleague who is looking for a book to give to her daughter's fifth grade 
class for their graduation.  We have come up with Dr. Seuss' "Oh the Places You'll 
Go"  but that is not what she and the other parents are looking for.  Does anyone 
have any other suggestions for a good book to give to a graduating fifth grade 
class?   I can think of a number of books, but nothing that stands out for her.
