[LM_NET] SHARE: Summer reading ideas - staff and students

Hello wise ones,

 

I want to implement some fun ideas to promote summer reading for both staff
and students.  Our students have some reading requirements, but I want to
promote reading for relaxation.  Would you be willing to share good ideas
you've used or heard about?

 

My idea is to have a summer reading bingo card-one for kids and one for
adults (I'll let parents participate, too, if they wish!)  I saw this idea
in the Wake County Public Library system last year.  Each space on card will
have a general category of book.  I'm going completely on the honor system
and I plan to offer small prizes when we return to school in August.

 

I look forward to your ideas.  I'll post a hit if there is interest.
