If you're attending ISTE 2010 in Denver you won't want to miss these great
events sponsored by the Media Specialist Special Interest Group (SIGMS).

*Sunday, June 27*

Visit SIGMS at ISTE’s new *SIG Fair*! Media Specialists have many stories to
tell: *imagine!*
*Monday, June 28*

Interested in Second Life? Glogster? Twitter? Virtual worlds? Join us in
the *21st Century Media Center Playground*: to learn, to share and to meet
teacher librarians from around the world!

Later that day keep the conversation going as you join the SIGMS “*Birds of
a Feather”* session in Centennial F of the Hyatt Regency Denver. Sponsored
by Rosen Publishing.

*Tuesday, June 29*

Our popular *SIGMS Forum* will feature a “*Smackdown*” format as a panel of
librarians (lead by Joyce Valenza and Gwyneth Jones) share information about
the latest Web 2.0 technologies that you can use with your students. At the
forum, we will also host the awards ceremony for the winners of the 2010
SIGMS Technology Innovation Award. Sponsored by Linworth Publishing and
Follett Software Company.

*Wednesday, June 30*
The annual *SIGMS Breakfast* will be held from 8 am – 9:30 am. David
Warlick will present “*Patron 2.0: Cracking the Native Information
Experience*”. This free breakfast is being sponsored by ProQuest.
Watch for daily informational emails during the conference, and stay tuned
to our SIGMS backchannel throughout the conference!

Not able to attend ISTE 2010? Stay tuned for information on how to
participate from a distance!
