Hello everyone. A friend has asked this question, and I was wondering whether anyone might have any advice or guidance on the following: We have a very small library. Our school is a small, private, pre-k through grade 5 inner city school. Our librarian for the past several years was a retired school teacher. She "retired" again at the end of this past school year. The books, most of which have been donated, are recorded on her computer but there is no cataloging system that allows children to access books in any manner, except by title. If we were to think of a library as a place to access information, we would fall far short of that goal. I am really looking to pick someone's brain who might be able to point me to some kind of computer program that might meet our needs. I would appreciate any help you might be able to offer us. Of course, it sounds like cost would be a major concern such that expensive systems would not be an option. Thanks to everyone for your consideration.
