I am wanting to hear from elementary school librarians who have been in situations where the principal is not getting the results he/she wants from and with A R.----especially when you don't meet reading AYP. PROVEN Ideas, suggestions, and strategies that have helped you to PEAK readomg scores, reading interests, reading LOVE and enjoyment AND wanting to take the tests and get points===where you can SEE, OBSERVE, and MEASURE results from your attempts , pursuits, and hard work. I am not wanting to create a debate on A R. I put myself on the committee to bring ideas to the table from research-----> YOUR ideas and successes. I will say A R is something that I can take/leave (mostly leave). We all know some people think A R is the " be all end all" and the answer to the reading woes and improve reading scores. I don't see that happening. That's all I will give from a personal standpoint. I will post a hit, and I appreciate everyone's ideas. Looking to see slump to PEAK ideas ! Thanks very much.
