Good Day,

We currently have a dozens of holds in process every week, and use far
more paper on notification of holds than I want to use.
this year, I plan to send an email to classroom teachers with the
names of students who have a hold in the LMC that is ready to pick up.
Then, I am thinking of mounting a white board near or on the
circulation desk where my assistant can write and erase the student's
names. A heading something like: Your Hold Is Ready, then she will
print first names and last name initial.

I'd love to read about the ideas of others who are have a paperless
hold system - pictures are great too. I'll post a HIT if there is
interest. Please reply off list to bookladynmn@gmail.com
