We are a TAP (Teacher Advancement Program) school. I’ve been told for all grades 7-12, with focus on 8th and 10th graders, I MUST teach the following: outlining, thesis statement, paraphrasing, summarizing, bibliography. I’ve always covered the last three to support the teachers, but in the past the ELA teachers covered the first two (and even the last). I will be evaluated on all instruction every Tuesday and must “track” these students each week as to progress. I’ve searched the web and found some sites, but if you have any good lesson plans (and several on the same subject) on any of these, please share. If reference books can be used within the lesson plans, the better as I was told “there won’t be time to teach those.” Tedine "Teddy" Soule Librarian, Logansport High School tsoule@desotopsb.com -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
