Dear Great and Wise Ones: I am preparing a lesson for the sophomores who are writing persuasive essays. I include Using the Abridged Reader's Guide, even though we no longer subscribe. I include Evaluating Websites before using them. I like to give them a list of the most thorough, reliable, valuable search engines and/or websites. My list includes infomine, virtuallrc, ipl.org, pew internet, and others. If you have a favorite that you recommend to your students, please let me know so that I can add it to my list. I will be happy to share the list as an attachment directly to your e-mail account if you let me know you would like one. Thanks so much.
