I am trying this post again because I received very few responses to my last try.
I have been cajoled into teaching a segment of the Superintendent's Conference Day
this Friday. My part is Publisher. I will have a variety of levels - from
teachers that have never used it to teachers that have some or more experience. I
am looking for this:
1. I want to give them some great ideas - what can we use Publisher for with our
students. I know about doing wanted posters, brochures instead of state reports
and things like that. Does anyone have some other ideas and/or examples of
projects I can wow these teachers with to encourage them to use this program where
appropriate?
2. Does anyone have any handouts, PowerPoints, etc that I might be able to borrow
to use for this day? This wasn't exactly on my already busy list of things I needed
to do this week...but I am always willing to pitch in when asked!
