[LM_NET] Off topic: San Antonio, Texas, information requested

Good afternoon colleagues,

My daughter has just been accepted into a one-year advanced dentistry program at 
the University of Texas Heath Science Center in San Antonio.  She and her husband 
will need an affordable apartment in a safe location in that general area.  Since 
they are apartment hunting from their current home in Lincoln, Nebraska, we would 
be very grateful if anyone with knowledge of San Antonio could recommend areas that 
might be good, or warn us about areas that might be dangerous.
