[LM_NET] looking for article on career planning for 9th graders

Does anyone know an article written for 8th or 9th graders about why career 
planning is important for this age group.  One of my teachers is starting a career 
unit and would like an introductory persuasive article.    I've searched and have 
come up with a number of sources on the "how" of career planning but none on the 
"why." Thanks!
