I posted a question today about the release dates of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie 
and new book.  Below is the prompt response I received from Jason Wells, the

Hello Fans of Wimpy Kid, 

I am the book publicist at Abrams. 
Please forgive me if I am overstepping my boundaries by posting this. 

The
 movie will be out March 19.

Jeff Kinney has authored an all new book 
based on his experiences making the movie. It will be out March 16. It 
is called The Wimpy Kid Movie Diary. 

A teachers guide and event 
kit for this new book will also be available. You can e-mail me and I 
will e-mail a link back to you when the guide and event kit is ready.
