I need some help.

Background info:

   - I am a traveling Media Specialist split between 3 K-6 builidings.
   - The collections at each building vary greatly.
   - I am the 4th person in 4 years at 2 of the buildings.
   - At the school with the oldest collection, paraprofessionals have made
the book selections for the past 2 years and are very particular about what
"they" will allow. The result is that the fiction selection for 6th graders
   is not very current.

I would love suggestions for good books for 5th and 6th graders. What are
the books that your students love and are checked out all the time?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Deirdre
