[LM_NET] Target: HS/ websites--disenfranchised children

Our freshman English classes will begin a research project about the 
disenfranchised children in the world--those given a "legacy" of poverty, disease, 
etc.

Some examples include:  Lost Boys of Sudan, Hutus and Tootsies, invisible children 
of Uganda, invisible children of US (poverty, Katrina, orphans, Dalits in India, 
child labor, illegal immigrants etc.'

I will be directing them to some databases but would also like to explore some 
websites.  Hoping for some great internet sites to show them so they don't have to 
google.

I will post a hit if interest is indicated.
