Hi,

I have a sophomore teacher with a class of students who have not shown her
much motivation or effort. She needs them to do an oral report of some kind
that will help them to become familiar with some world authors that they
have not known previously. Does anyone have any ideas about what might
work to get them engaged? I might add that the teacher was not interested
in collaborating with the world history teacher on this, nor is she very
interested in students using technology (sigh) The good news is - she's
asking me for ideas. I have made some suggestions that she hasn't been too
keen on, but I thought if I said YOU had come up with this..

Thanks for any ideas.
