I do so like Green Eggs & Ham!

Say, I would read it anywhere!
 
Would you, Could you?
Read the book?
Could you?  Would you?
Read the book?
 
From Pre/K to 12
From Z to A
Would you?  Could you?
Read it today?
 
Dressed in lime?
Dressed in green?
Could you?  Would you?
Read it and be seen?
 
Would you?  Could you?
Read the book I say?
In your room,
Or in the hallway?
 
In the cafeteria?
In the car?
In the gym?
Both near and far!
 
Hey, in the sunshine…
At the beach?
Could you, would you
At the beach?
In the rain?
On a train?
In a plane,
On your way to Spain?
 
Around the world?
In outer space too?
Way down under
With a hoppin’ kangaroo?
 
Would you?  Could you?
Read the book?
In fifty different places?
You can if you look!
 
So as Green Eggs & Ham
Turns fifty this year…
Read it, Read It, and Read it I say…
As we celebrate Green Eggs & Ham’s B-I-R-T-H Day!
