For the people asking about how to use Animoto in the classroom/library setting and with students under the age of 13 - just go to the Animoto for Education site at http://animoto.com/education to apply for an education account. It takes several days to receive a response. You will receive a class code to be used for setting up student accounts, along with information on how to get started. Email addresses are needed for these accounts and they tell you how to set up "safe" email accounts using gmail. If you read all the information that you receive when you get the class code, you will find that it is very easy to set up for your students. My 8th graders are in the library this week doing our first ever project using Animoto and it is going great! We are starting out with a very simple vocabulary project. Elizabeth P.
