I have a teacher searching for a book she read when she was either in high school
or college. The book is about a young girl who gets cancer and dies. There is a
hospital or company giving people the cancer, then charging them for treatment, and
the girl's family is too poor to afford the treatment.

Any help or direction you can give me would be greatly appreciaited. Thank you.
