[LM_NET] Interesting discussion about the impact and future of social media

Hi folks-- and a happy and prosperous new year to all my friends and
acquaintances in library land!

From Steven Fry's blog here's a very interesting video discussion which
includes the actor and activist, Stephen Fry, Biz Stone, Founder and Chief
Executive of Twitter; and Reid Hoffman, Founder and Chief Executive of
LinkedIn. It is about 90 minutes long and is worth watching all the way
through if you have the time.

Heads up for those who are offended by political chat-- some is included in
the discussion. If you're offended by such discussion please don't bother
emailing me back telling me you don't think politics is appropriate for any
of these listservs. ;<)
