[LM_NET] Cowboy poetry search

I'm looking for a poem and am needing some help.  It's a

I'm looking for a poem and am needing some help.  It's a very short cowboy poem 
about a guy who keeps stubbing his toe on various rocks in his path because he 
keeps looking behind to see what is causing the problem, thus not paying attention 
to what lies ahead.  The moral being that trouble is in the future and that is 
where you need to focus rather than dwelling in the past for the explanation for 
all your troubles.  Anyway, the last line goes something like this ... looking back 
to where his trouble had been, he stubbed his toe again.  I tried Googling various 
possible last line phrases and either have the last line of the poem incorrect or 
the poem is not on the web.

Do you know any good cowboy poetry search sites?  Maybe someone on here is an 
expert and recognizes the poem (crossing fingers).  If you have any information,
