Here are the Hello Librarians, and our favorite Latin lurker, et al., Here are the last two sentences of the original article... Benjamin Feshbach, who’s now considered a power searcher, has his own ideas. “I think there should be a program where Google asks kids questions about what they’re searching for,” he said, “like a Google robot.” [ OR say ... sort of what a librarian might do? Earl J.] So, what happens when you lose your connection, the power goes out, or your computer crashes? It appears it is yet another very subtle attempt to remove the word librarian from the public consciousness... it appeared to me they went out of their way to avoid using the term library, librarian, or researcher (which might imply library or archive to many) from the article... gee whiz...
