One of my sixth grade social studies teachers wants his kids to read fiction that relates to the world religions he teaches. He will probably use Number the Stars and Breadwinner. He'd like a third title. He wants fairly short books that are appropriate for 11-year-olds. Can you suggest any additional books for sixth graders that relates to other religions than Judaism or Islam? Do you have recommendations for books better than Number the Stars and Breadwinner? -- Sandra Lingo, Librarian Delhi Middle School 5280 Foley Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45238 slingo47@fuse.net -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
