[LM_NET] Book Group young children

A mom has asked me for book suggestions to read for their children's book group, 
ages 5 - 7. The idea is for the parent to read aloud to their child each night, a 
chapter or two a night, and then the children and their parents get together to 
discuss the book. 



I find this request more challenging than I thought because of the ages of the 
children and the fact that it needs to be a longer fiction book rather than a 
picture book. I'd welcome any suggestions!
