[LM_NET] HS/Adult: do you know this book

today i had a student tell me about a book he heard book talked in a
class by a classmate last semester
 
here is what he described to me:
it is snowing and a bus full of prisoners crashes and some escape. 
some of the escapees are very computer/tech savvy and use their
abilities to hack computers - how or why i do not know.
 
not much go to on but am hopefully someone on this fabulous list can
give me a hint.
