[LM_NET] HIT, Part II: Mock Newbery Committee

After posting my HIT, I received this message.  Thought I should pass it along:

We vote during a lunchtime meeting before the 
announcement is made. Then we basically party with pizza, fruit and cookies, at 
a lunchtime meeting as soon as possible after the announcement. We also compare 
the results of our Mock Newbery with the real one, and look at what they have 
chosen. We also have the funds to buy each kid a book (either a Mock Newbery 
book, or a real Newbery book: their choice), so they make that choice during the 
meeting. It's really just a 25 minute celebration, and really fun.
