[LM_NET] TAR: Setting up a Blog

I would like to start a reading blog for my students.   I've looked at many 
of them out there for ideas.    

I looking for suggestions from people who've had one.    What kind of 
service do you use to host your site?   What is the easier work with?   I know 
there is blogger, wordpress, and many more.
