Last fall someone posted a link to a website in which you could enter data about a media center (or library) to establish its cost effectiveness. I thought I saved the link, but I can't find it in my email. I've checked the archives and I haven't been able to find it and Google searches haven't been much help. I'm currently working on a project for a course in economics and education and would like to use my own media center to promote school libraries because, like many of us, my job is on the chopping block again. If you remember the link or know of one that might work, I would appreciate the help. If there is interest, I'll post a hit.
