Here's the clues...a big tree has its roots growing into a spring or
pond. It is a tree of life or of knowledge. A carp lives in the
water and has gained wisdom from the tree. People come to ask
questions of the carp. The story is about a girl who comes and asks
a question of the carp.

Any ideas??
