HELP!!!
I have received error message: Could not obtain data record lock in file
i_invsta.
This happened in Winnebago Spectrum while I was running inventory.
This is in the MIDDLE of inventory! We have entered 11,000+ items and have
over 17,000 to go! I was scanning away... bar codes
started coming up as 'unrecognized'... closed the system and now it won't let me
back in, I simply get this error message.
I've tried exiting out of everything... shutting down the computer twice....
Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to fix it?
Unfortunately, we chose not to spend the $500 a year on tech support this
year since we hadn't used them in 5 years! So I can't call them!
And our tech guy is on vacation for 2 weeks!!!
I'm using Winnebago 5.3....
ANY help would be awesome!
If no ideas... has anyone ever scanned all of their bar codes into an Excel sheet
and then uploaded to inventory? I can do this until our tech guy
gets back from vacation, if it would be progress! However, I don't want to
scan 17,000+ items if it's just going to be a complete waste of time and I
have to rescan everything....
