Original Post: Anybody out there using xtranormal? If so, will you please provide
guidance? I will post a hit.
Got the idea from this video showing students requesting differentiated
instruction.

1. I wanted to see how it worked, so I created one to welcome kids back to the
library at the beginning of the school year. Here's the link:
http://www.xtranormal.com/profile/875331/

2. I use xtranormal with my kids. We're currently doing booktalks. One of my LA
teachers and I collaborated to use it as an assessment for a novel they read in
lieu of a traditional book report. The created animated characters who discussed
the book. The kids loved it once we worked out the kinks.

3. I think, but I'm not sure, you have to pay with points to have certain features
and abilities. I was so excited because it was relatively easy to use.

4. Although I haven't used it with a class yet, our fourth grade teacher, with whom
I work closely, had her students create "interviews" with persons from the
Revolutionary War Era. They wrote questions and answers first, checking in books
for accuracy, then created the interviews online.

Thanks to those who responded.
